School Visits
Each year, the department visits the elementary school and daycare. We also have visitors who come to the station for a tour. The kids are always most excited about the smoke house we bring. We give a presentation, allow the kids to try on some gear, and test out some of our equipment we carry on the trucks.
Fire Prevention Night Out
In 2024, we started holding a community event during Fire Prevention week to help spread awareness and safety to all. We plan activities for all ages, fry up some brats and burgers, and invite some other very important agencies who we work with closely to come join us for a couple hours.
