Welcome to Fremont, Wisconsin, the whitebass capital of the World! The Fremont-Wolf River Fire Department has been going strong since 1911. The Fire Department serves the Town of Fremont, the Town of Wolf River, and the Village of Fremont. We, as a fire service, have been gifted through fundraisers, donations, and help from the community to have outstanding equipment to help us get the job done when a call comes in. We respond to car accidents, house fires, ice and water rescues, wildland fires, EMS calls, and we have even saved a few animals. This fire family of brothers and sisters is always ready to respond and help others when they are having one of the worst days of their lives.
